Day Hernandez

Selva Mex is straight out of a dream. The Mexican culture Day grew up in was never hydrated or full. The only Mex she knows is the dry desert Chicali(Mexicali). This design is a Mexican jungle with small pieces of Mexico in the wild. This bold installation is a mixture of Mexican culture. You'll notice the oranges that represent the oranges sold off the freeway. The roosters in the space represent the roosters in our yard and the unique styled mixture of birds.

Day Hernandez

Day Hernandez is an upcoming Art Director in Los Angeles, CA. She is a Mexican-American woman born and raised in Boyle Heights. Making her cultural mark in the film and events industry. Day has had the great fortune to work on some truly inspiring projects with big names such as Snoop Dogg, Timbaland and Anderson Paak. Day is working through the male populated industry by creating art she believes in and not toxic content.
